Nyoro / Runyoro

Nyoro is used in the Bunyoro and Toro provinces of Uganda.

1) Ekisiika kyange kiraha?

2) Bbiici eraha?
["Beach" is a foreign concept; Bunyoro is landlocked, and vacationing on the beach is not part of the local culture.]

3) Bbara eraha?
[In Nyoro, a single 'b' is a soft b while a double 'b' is an explossive b.]

4) Otankwatayo oku!
[The Nyoro people would never say this so directly, considering it very crude and vulgar.]
